About RMDD

Welcome to Rocky Mountain DockDogs! We are a regional affiliate club of the Worldwide Dockdogs® organization that was formed in August 2008. We  mainly cover Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska but we don’t discriminate and we welcome members from all over the country! It doesn’t matter what breed of dog you have or if you know your dog will jump; we just like to have fun! DockDogs® is the fastest growing dog sport in the world and we host events in our region as well as attend national events as far as we can drive. As a club we raise money for many different causes like Chase Away Canine Cancer and to get pet oxygen masks in every fire station. Member benefits include discounted club merchandise, seminars and logo decals, voting privileges, as well as discounts from our sponsors and select business partners.

If you are interested in DockDogs® and what we do, sign up for our e-newsletter to stay informed and feel free to drop us a line on our contact page. We are always looking for new members and volunteers, because without you we couldn’t put on these amazing events! We ask that dogs be at least 6 months old and handlers be at least 7 years old. It is a must to know that your dog knows how to swim even if they aren’t confident yet and enjoys water before attending an event or practice to assure that you and your dog have fun! We run DockDogs 101 practices for new dogs and handlers about once a month in the winter and every few months in the summer. You don’t have to become a member to come try it out! Stay tuned to the calendar and newsletter as they fill up fast!

Thanks for stopping by! And don’t be shy, we love new faces (both human and dog)!!

  1. Greetings! I work with Mondak Animal Rescue in Williston, ND. We are holding our 19th Annual Dog Jog on September 16th, 2016; this is usually our largest fundraiser of the year. We bring in nearly 400 pet lovers for a walk around Spring Lake Park, a costume contest, yard games and more. We’ve been trying to expand this event each year and would love to be able to include a Dock Dogs organization. Please let me know if this is something Rocky Mountain DockDogs would be interested in – thank you in advance!

    Hi-

My name is Ann and I have a 10 month old Labrador Retriever and I am interested in getting hi into dock diving. I live in the Conifer area but happy to drive down to Denver. What do I need to do to see if this is something Max would be interested in?

    Hey Dock Dog Team!

My name is Bianca and I’m with Outward Hound. We’re putting together a summer life jacket campaign and I wanted to see if you’d be interested in chatting more about it! We’re trying to keep this pretty top secret, and have some fun stuffed up or sleeve.

Please let me know if you’re interested in hearing more by emailing me at bianca.rossi@outwardhound.com

    Thanks!
